BOOKOO Motto80 Grinder — Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

All purchases of the BOOKOO Motto80 Grinder are subject to these Terms & Conditions.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms, including our Shipping, Duties & Taxes, Warranty, and Refund & Returns Policies.

2. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise specified. Payments are processed securely via our authorized payment gateway.

Exceptions & Disclaimers

  • All estimated prices are subject to change based on actual invoice value, product classification, and local customs rules.

3. Shipping & Delivery Policy

Motto80 uses a specialized shipping policy distinct from our other products.

  • Shipments are fulfilled through express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) or standard air freight, depending on destination and selected option.

  • Estimated delivery time: 1–3 weeks after dispatch, subject to customs clearance and local delivery conditions.

  • Estimated shipping costs: USD $50–$150, depending on weight, distance, and chosen service level.
    (For remote or hard-to-reach regions, additional surcharges may apply.)

Exceptions & Disclaimers
We reserve the right to adjust shipping method, carrier, or cost post-purchase, with notice to the customer, if required by logistics or customs exigencies.

4. Duties & Taxes

Motto80 uses a specialized Duties & Taxes policy distinct from our other products.

  • For certain countries (e.g. United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, etc.), duties and taxes may be prepaid at checkout (DDP).

  • For other countries, duties, import VAT, and customs handling fees are not included and must be paid locally by the customer (DAP / DDU).

  • Prepaid duties are estimates based on current tariffs & tax rates and may not cover additional local customs fees or adjustments.
    If the actual tax is higher, the customer may be asked to settle the difference at customs.

Exceptions & Disclaimers

  • In the event of package return due to unpaid taxes or duties rejection, the customer shall bear return shipping costs.

5. Order Modification & Cancellation

  • If you need to modify your order (such as changing the grinder configuration or updating the shipping address), please contact our team at support@bookoocoffee.com before delivery.
    For security reasons, please use the original email address used to place the order.

  • Orders may be cancelled free of charge up to 2 weeks prior to dispatch.
    A cancellation request submitted less than 2 weeks before dispatch will incur a 3% processing fee to cover non-refundable payment processing costs.

  • To avoid incurring the 3% fee, you can opt to convert your refund into store credit for the full amount of your order.
    (Store credit can be used directly on the BOOKOO website for future purchases.)

  • Once the item has shipped, cancellation is no longer possible; any return must follow our Returns & Refunds Policy.

6. Refunds & Returns Policy

  • If your grinder is damaged or defective upon receipt, please contact support@bookoocoffee.com within 7 daysof receiving the item, and provide photos or videos as proof for verification.

  • Approved returns must be sent back in their original packaging.
    Return shipping costs and taxes are the responsibility of the customer unless the defect is confirmed as manufacturing-related.

  • Refunds are issued only after inspection of the returned item.
    You will automatically receive the refund via your original payment method within 10 business days.
    (Please note your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund.)

  • If more than 10 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us at support@bookoocoffee.com.

  • Change-of-mind returns (must meet three conditions: unused, in as-new condition, and in original packaging) may be accepted within 30 days of receipt.
    Used, modified, or incomplete units may not qualify for a full refund; a pro rata deduction may apply at BOOKOO’s discretion.

7. Warranty Policy

General Product Warranty

  • The Motto80 Grinder is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of receipt (or 30 days from shipping notification, whichever is later).

  • Customers who register their unit may extend core component coverage to 2 years.

  • Repairs and parts are free of charge during the warranty period.
    The Motto80 Grinder’s modular design makes maintenance simple and user-friendly; just follow the provided maintenance instructions.

  • This warranty applies only to units purchased through BOOKOO’s official or authorized channels.
    It does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, modifications, consumable parts, normal wear & tear, or use outside the country of purchase unless prior written approval is granted.

  • After the warranty period expires, genuine replacement parts and repair support remain available and may be provided at a subsidized cost.

Second-Hand Product Warranty

If you purchase your grinder (or accessories) second-hand, the original buyer must contact BOOKOO to request a warranty transfer (via the Contact Us page).
Without valid proof of purchase or an approved transfer, BOOKOO reserves the right to decline warranty coverage.

This policy exists to protect customers and ensure product authenticity. BOOKOO reserves the right to refuse warranty service for used products obtained under the following conditions:

  • Stolen or lost items that were later resold

  • Illegally obtained through fraudulent transactions

  • Purchased from unauthorized sellers who cannot provide valid proof of purchase

Only verified second-hand products with a confirmed purchase history are eligible for warranty support.
Warranty coverage for verified used products follows the same terms as the general warranty policy.
