2. Freezing, jamming problems / charging indicator does not show when charging / grams drift, inaccurate
Reason :
Firmware version is not the latest version
Method:
After power on and leave it for one day to consume power completely, firstly upgrade the latest firmware in BOOKOO APP (if it doesn't work, then upgrade the latest firmware in BOOKOO Tools App (attached at the bottom of this page, also can click :https://bookoocoffee.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Bookoo-Tools-usage-paper.png)), after updating, the problem still exists, please contact us.
2.1 Some of the grams drift
Reason :
the transparent strip on the bottom of the mini scale didn't come off
Method:
Just tear out and throw away and scale will get normal working.
3.Air bubbles under the protective film
Reason:
The protective film on the surface of the panel is to protect the surface of the scale from scratches, dust, etc. during production, quality control and transport. In the transport process may produce individual bubbles, this bubble does not affect the use and after-sales.
Method:
It is recommended to tear off.
4.BOOKOO App did not synchronize weight data
4.1 Non-Bluetooth Function Problem
Reason :
The firmware may not be updated or the device does not support the use of BOOKOO App.
Method:
Firstly record a video to assist engineers to identify the cause, and then answer the following questions:
① Whether the firmware version is the latest
② Mobile phone brand and model
③Can you have weight data by using Beanconqueror APP
④Whether the same situation occurs when using the app with other mobile phones or tablets.
4.2 Bluetooth Function Problems
Reason:
Whether there is consent in the privacy policy pop-up window when using BOOKOO App (attached picture), if there is no consent, the related functions of Bluetooth API (including device discovery, device pairing, data transmission, etc.) can not be used.
Method:
Uninstall BOOKOO App and re-download it, find BOOKOO APP in the settings of your mobile phone, tick the box to allow access to the Bluetooth function, and go back to the APP to agree to the privacy policy pop-up box request. Contact us if the problem still exists, attach photos/videos if you can to assist with troubleshooting.
5. Automatic shutdown
5.1 Automatic shutdown due to software failure
Reason :
The "auto shutdown" refers to the black screen without shutdown animation, which belongs to the software failure of version 1.0.8, our engineers said that version 1.0.9 can greatly reduce the frequency of triggering.
Method:
Update the firmware to the latest version, if the problem still exists, contact us and attach photos/videos if possible to assist in troubleshooting.
5.2 Auto shutdown after no operation
The scale will automatically switch off by default after 15 minutes of no operation and no weight change.
6.The device name of the scale is not searched in the Bluetooth connection
Problem Cause:
Users should be in the mobile phone system Bluetooth connection, but our mini scale is connected through BOOKOO APP.
Method:
After opening the Bluetooth, click on the mini scale icon, the connectable devices will appear in the home page.
7. APP Bluetooth auto-disconnect
If you switch to another APP in the middle of the process, the Bluetooth will be disconnected automatically.
8.Battery Replacement
Currently does not support self-replacement of the battery, if it is damaged during the warranty period, you can contact the official free repair. Battery life is 5-7 years, normal use will not be damaged.
